The Village is lit up for the holidays!
The village is once again awash with bright, white twinkling lights in front of the village center in the parkways on Paradise Bay Road.
You may notice the trees seem a bit more like light sticks than full trees this season. That’s because Jefferson County pruned them this summer – they’ll grow out again. While the planning & preparations started months ago. the lights were finally installed this morning. WAVE brought in bucket trucks to help reach the high boughs, and professional traffic control was in place to provide safe passage for both the volunteers and drivers.
Thanks to the PLVC Holiday Lights committee, a host of dedicated volunteers, WAVE Broadband & Highway Safety of Port Hadlock.
Be sure to drive by between twilight and dawn to view their handiwork. Bring by your visiting friends & relatives during the holiday season.
Traditionally, lights remain up in the boughs until early March.
