This archive collection includes documents relevant to the log yard at Port Ludlow Bay. Use of this 29-acre property as a log yard began after the Port Ludlow mill closed in the 1950s, after which logs were shipped by water to the Pope and Talbot mill in Port Gamble. Pope and Talbot originally owned the land, but transferred ownership to Pope Resources in the mid 1980s and leased it back to operate it until the mid 1990s. PLA purchased it from Pope Resources in 2001.
