AERIAL SPRAYING SCHEDULED FOR THIS SUNDAY

Olympic Resource Management (ORM) has advised they are now planning to do the herbicide spraying application on SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 4, in the afternoon. If not completed on Sunday, it may be continued on Monday. The contractor has moved his equipment onto the site, so this is more probable than before. Weather is still the unknown variable, but looks promising. This is the application to the Googan cut that was harvested a few months ago. It is located south of the MPR about a mile from Olympic Terrace 2 and half a mile west of Teal Lake Road. ORM presented their plans to a public meeting on August 8 and slides from that presentation, including one listing the chemicals to be applied, can be found on the PLVC website, www.plvc.org

Our normal contact at ORM will be out of town this weekend, but Andy Gasow will be managing the operation will be available at 360-908-7806, agasow@orminc.com
